Fairies and Folklore at Dublin Zoo This St Patrick’s Weekend
Thursday, March 13th, 2014
Dublin Zoo will be joining in the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations this year, with a very special event for all the family.
The Zoo will be transformed into a magical playground of leprechauns and fairies. There will be activities to keep the whole family entertained including maypole ribbon dancing and storytelling time with the leprechaun king.
Kids will also have the chance to get creative and join the fun at arts and crafts sessions happening throughout the day. Face painters will be on hand to make sure that the little ones are transformed into pretty fairies and laughing leprechauns and ready to dance and have fun at the Fairy Ball.
Special keeper talks will run throughout the day and visitors can watch their favourite animals enjoy festive tri-colour treats in honour of St Patrick.
Come down and join us as we celebrate all things green on this very special day at Dublin Zoo! Tickets can be purchased online at www.dublinzoo.ie. Dublin Zoo, a not for profit organisation, is open seven days a week from 9.30am to 6pm in March.
