Homemade Chicken Nuggets

65g breadcrumbs
1tsp corn flour
Freshly ground black pepper
!½ tsp of paprika
225g skinless chicken fillets, cut into strips
1 egg, lightly beaten

1. Mix all the dry ingredients together
2. Dip the chicken pieces into the egg and then into the mixed dry ingredients
3. Leave rest on a plate in the fridge for one hour if you have time
4. Grill the nuggets for around 4 minutes on each side
5. Make sure they are properly cooked before you serve them

Top tip:
This recipe is low in bad fats, salt and sugar. The chicken is a great source of protein which is the building blocks of cells. You could serve these with roasted courgettes, tomatoes and some sweet corn.
