Giraffe Childcare Clonsilla is located in a residential area on Station Court Road just off the Clonsilla Road. The creche is en route from Blanchardstown, Carpenterstown, Clonee, Luttrelstown, and Castleknock. Our crèche has 10 spacious rooms, all brightly decorated and arranged to offer each child the chance to explore and investigate their environment.
There is a warm, happy and positive environment in the crèche and we all work together to plan our child curriculum to support each individual’s child development. Our planning reflects the children’s interests so we are all experts in mini-beasts.
We offer a broad curriculum underpinned by Aistear and Siolta frameworks with a range of opportunities for children to explore and learn through play. All the rooms are on the ground floor and have easy access to our lovely secure outdoor play area where the children love making obstacle courses and playing chasing games.
Our centre is open all year round, Monday to Friday except for public holidays. We offer full and part-time places and the crèche tends to fill up extremely quickly so early booking is advisable. We also deliver the free pre-school year (ECCE) to prepare your child for school. All our staff are Garda vetted, are fully qualified and attend ongoing training. Centre Manager
I joined Giraffe in 2007 as a carer in the Wobbler room in our Clonsilla centre and I stepped into my role of centre Manager in 2016. After achieving my BA in Pedagogy and working closely with children in early years’ settings as an SNA assistant, I understand the importance of nurturing a child’s independent learning at every stage of development. With the help of my talented team, we are committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences for all the children in our centre!
