Information required for ECCE Preschool Grant

• The ECCE Preschool grant is available each September for children aged 2 years 8 months or older, until they go to primary school.
• Younger children will not qualify for this grant but can avail of the National Childcare Scheme apply here
• It is important that all the names are spelled exactly as they appear on the PPS records.
• A PPS number is always 7 numbers followed by either one or two letters. You can obtain your child’s PPS number from the Client Identity Section in the Dept. of Social Protection. Tel 1890 927 999 ( Press “1” )  – You will need to provide them with your own PPS number on the phone.
• Please DO NOT submit your child’s GP card number. We require your child’s PPS number.
